JOURNAL ENTRY



All right folks! I've decided to host a photography contest, since it's something I both love and understand. It will be judged fairly and quickly, and is going to run until Christmas Eve. That's December 24th for anyone who is unaware. There is no theme, so just follow the guidelines and you will be all set!

Guidelines:
-One entry per person. If you're caught submitting on multiple accounts you will be disqualified.
-They do not have to be new photos, however it is recommended since we all grow as artists over time.
-No mature content
-No photomanipulations
-Must be your own work
-Please add to your image description a link to this contest to gain coverage.

Deadline:
December 24th 2007 at 11:59pm EST (-5:00 GMT)
It's running from November 4th so that's 50 days!

Prizes:
First place- 3 month subscription, 1 month journal feature
Second Place- 1 month journal feature
Third Place- 1 month journal feature

Submission:
Send me a note titled Photo Contest with a link to your submission. I will look at it to make sure that it meets all the required guidelines, and add it if it does. If not I will let you know.

FAQ:
Q: Can they be HDR images?
A: Yes, so long as what you do can also be done in the darkroom.
Q: Is there a Theme?
A: As stated above, no.

Send me a note titled Judging to apply to judge(not enter the contest for those who keep mixing this up). We'll go from there.
