Portfolio Contest Entry

This is what I created for the portfolio page design contest. It's not to scale with the site at all though, because of the whole different resolution thing. That, and the fact that I was trying not to overly stretch the page. Anyways, I designed this so that it's informative, and also self-representative. Since I am taking art portfolio this year, I had some insight as to what should be included. A lot of what's on here is what colleges (at least in the United States) look for in the portfolio you bring to them. That was pretty much my influence throughout the entire thing. I used DeviantART's graphics with the text, because I lack creativity at 3am, and because I'm not sure what they'd want to use for it. I'm sure new graphics would be made though. I did create the copyright one... and as you can see, it sucks. Hence why I didn't attempt any others. I also am allowing for a guest commenting system, which needs to be protected from bots naturally. In it, rather than the emoticon system, I put a start rating system. I thought that this might be better for a portfolio page, since they are more like peer reviews than actual comments. Oh, and I started the design from below the header containing the username. It seemed pointless to include it. That's pretty much it.

Total Time Taken to Design: 3 Hours

If anyone at all wants to use it, fine by me. Just give me a little credit in the bottom corner saying that the original design was mine. I'm not picky. Modify as wanted.

Once more, it's only a basic idea.
