This is in memory of my grandfather who ended his battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsey on February 1st, 2010.
The fire chief formal hat is actually my father's, but they were both firefighters and it was all I had. The rose came from one of the bouquets at his funeral when we were at the grave site. And of course the candle is symbolic and shouldn't need an explanation.
I chose to underexpose it a bit, and applied the tones in Lightroom.
